Xlr Female
Need help connecting a mixer / preamp to my current system?
I currently use a Yamaha RX777 2 Preamp Peavey 2600 amps, 1 eq Peavey Peavey Peavey 3way 4 and 4 par All works and sounds good, but I have a mixer XR600F / I as a preamp I can on guitar and take a couple of microphones in the mixture would be taken. The mixer has two 1 / 4 "outputs on it for a primary and a monitor, but I 'm not sure the best place to connect. The pre-amp that I currently only has RCA connectors for DVD, VCR, CD, ect … Going 1 / 4 "male mixer to think of a CD preamp but I'm not sure it will. Another way I see the EQ has 4 entries XLR 3-pin and I am currently only two of them. Would it be better to switch the console directly into the eq instead of the precursor. Thank you for all assistance.
Wayne has more than one way to do this, but I'll give you a way. Keep your system as it is, except to connect the red / white RCA tape outputs xr600f the preamplifier to a free input on the Yamaha. It works and you do not mess with the wiring of your system. Everything you need is the red / white RCA cables.
