Waves Update
Does anyone know where I can find a sound card and/or update drivers for an Acer Aspire 3000 laptop?
I’ve tried just about everything, but the sound on my laptop just won’t work. I go into control panel, click on adjust the system volume and when I look under device volume it won’t let me click on anything. I looks like it’s almost invisible or something. When I tried searching for my sndvol32.exe file, everything appeared to be in working order, but it also wouldn’t let me click on advanced options. The only volume bars it had were for Wave, SW Synth and CD Player. I figured that I’d try updating my drivers and replacing my sound card. I’ve also tried testing my Realtek AC97 Audio and it says that there is nothing wrong with it. Then I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the drive, but that didn’t work either. I’ve even been having problems with trying to view videos on my computer now too. Youtube will play 2 seconds of a video and then stop and Windows Media Player is giving me problems as well. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be forever grateful. Thanks.
Download audio drivers for Acer Aspire 3000 from here (http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/as_3000.html) and try reinstalling the drivers again.
