Virtualizer Pro

Virtualizer Pro
Similar-looking photo editing program?

One of my photo editing programs, Polaroid Photomax Pro (came bundled with an ancient printer), isn’t compatible with Mac. The drivers for Mac are there, but since this is old software, it doesn’t work with my Intel mac because it was written for PowerPC (classic software).

I can’t get Rosetta to open it, and emulators/virtualizers like DarWINE, SheepShaver, and Basilisk II (don’t have the money for Parallels Desktop) didn’t work for either of the Windows and Mac files. So I’ve decided what I’d try to do is find another program with a similar interface. Here is a screenshot of it:

If anyone knows something that resembles this interface, please don’t hesitate to mention it. Or, if you know a way to run .exe files or PowerPC applications, that would be great.

That user interface is pretty typical for a lot of photo editing programs. May I suggest checking out Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Fireworks. Photoshop can be a bit pricey though. There’s also a free open-source program called GIMP (www.gimp.org) that’s not bad either.
