What is the maximum amount of memory recognized and used by Windows 32-bit Vista? And Windows XP?
Also, if I need Windows XP with a system with 5 GB of DDR is Enjoy all the windows 5GB or will it only use up to 3 GB (I think it's safe remove the limit of non-detected)
XP 32 bit recognizes 3 gigs, I think. 32bit Vista recognizes 3.5 gigs. You need a 64 bit OS use more of the Edict Jamus @: Have you had 2x 2gig sticks? If so, why. If you put sticks 3x 1GB + 1 x 512 MB flash drive, Vista will then recognize 3.5 gigs.
