Tube Preamp

What is the purpose would be the best way to connect my mic / preamp to my PC for recording?
I am, to consider the purchase a condenser microphone V63m MLX I then connect to an ART Tube MP preamp. I do not have a blender, but I have a audio recording software like Audacity and Acoustica. I spent a good majority of my money that way I do not have any with a FireWire interface. However, there are 1 / 4 "and XLR converter USB to USB converter. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with these two and if so, is the sound quality? (After all, high quality, so I just spent over a hundred dollars on this stuff) Also, if someone other means known to a high-quality mic preamp with a PC I get open to suggestions. Shades – Thanks much
Shade – I'll try to help you save a nice short answer. You really do not need to buy pre-amp, if you're going to the computer. All you need is a microphone and a USB audio interface with phantom power. If you plan on keeping the preamp, you can always, but it is superfluous, because the interface has a USB audio preamplifier. you do not want to connect directly to the output of the preamplifier computer – were good, the bad and you'll have the microphone, your waste of money. Anyway here is a good interface (requires no preamp): http://www.zzounds.com/item–TASUS122MKII interface if you intend to keep the precursor http://www.zzounds.com/item–NUMSTEREOIO
