What modifications can I make to a 2007 Nissan 350Z that won’t affect my warranty?
I am working overseas in Iraq and while I was home last month, I purchased a 2007 Nissan 350Z with very low miles. When I come home for good, I’d like to upgrade the intake, exhaust and a few other things, plug install an oil cooler–but I’m afraid of voiding my warranty. Any ideas as to the extend of what I can do??
Intake exhaust and oil cooler won’t affect your warranty. If you find a mechanic who is cool with other modifications that he can look past. even more modifications are possable. If you had me install your Nismo exhaust headers high flow random technologys cat converters. Light weight flywheel and heavy duty pressure plate I would know your into performance track driving just what that car really likes. Another thing you can do is maintain your car properly keep it clean and bolt back on your stock wheels with good tires when returning to the shop. Something about Hoosier racing tires on 3 piece wheels covered in brake dust makes the service manager worried. 350Z is about as dependable as sports cars get.
