Party Strobe
What will make the dance party in my garage more fun?

My friend is having a garage party with black lights, strobe lights, a fog machine, and drinks.

I know we’re all going to end up dancing but I really want to give out some type of food or beverage that will make everyone go crazy.

ANYTHING suggestions that will make the party more fun would be great!

For a great party, think “THEME.” You’re already going all out with black lights, strobe lights and fog machines, so you could really push the envelope and do an underground rave or 80′s theme. Start with cups, plates and napkins, then party favors, and of course food. In Texas, we have a store called “Party City” that has stuff for every kind of theme party imaginable, or even a place like Wal-Mart would probably have most of what you’re looking for among in their party section for if you’re on a budget.

I’m thinking drinking flasks, cigarettes (real or candy), candy bracelets (fake drugs) and even a bowl of condoms if you really want to push the envelope. Gotta have some Pixie Sticks, too (you know the sugar you drink out of a paper straw like when we were kids?) People will get a huge kick out of it and you’ll have everyone laughing and having a good time.

For food, if you’re going with the club or rave theme would have to be “munchie” type things like brownies (your choice whether they’re “special” brownies or not), puffy cheetos, beef jerky, finger sandwiches cut into stars painted with food coloring, candy of any kind like M&M’s, Skittles or candy bars. You could even buy a box of Special K cereal for a joke. Hope this helps! Have fun!! :)

After the likes of “Rock Lobster” and “606-0842,” a lot of new wavers were curious about what Athens, Georgia’s fun-loving B-52s were going to do for an encore. The answer came with this rollicking second album in 1980, which found flat-toned Fred Schneider and twin bouffant-topped, gogoing chanteuses Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson nearly equaling the giddy highs of their debut. From the riotous “P…

Taken in one concentrated best-of dose, it becomes evident what a coup the B-52′s pulled off when they turned their own concentrated craziness into genuine hits. This is some of the weirdest stuff ever to make the charts, much less be loved by the masses. It’s all here though–the mad surf guitar of Ricky Wilson (and later Keith Strickland), the banshee wails of Cindy Wilson and Kate Pierson, and,…
