Maybe a white non-Hispanic Spanish a city largely Speaker badly my career opportunities?
I am a white woman 30 years with two college degrees and I am a library assistant. I live in San Antonio, TX, at least 60% (or more) the Hispanic population. I love my city, but the idea that non-speakers Spanish could keep me forever I feel encouraged to intervene. I work in the library service-oriented natural universe. Note also owns a recession much "waiting" that the budget …. Am I paranoid or what could be a truth to?
Unfortunately for you, you're probably wrong. Living in a city that is 60% speak Spanish, you are seriously cutting your options and spend less time not knowing placement, at least some basic understanding of Spanish. Nobody says you must speak fluently, but at least Learn a bit so that communication with individuals.
