Why not use a laser pointer on a computer screen shows that you see on other surfaces?
I noticed this on my Dell Inspiron 1520
LCDs have a layer of liquid in them than the light absorbed by the laser pointer. It should be the same on all LCDs. Act LCD means Liquid Crystal Display. The lighting, laser light seems less dynamic.
