Samson (zoom) is planning its new H4n Recorder announced at CES 2009 show. Zoom H4n do many of the functions contained on the original Zoom H4 (stereo microphones, XLR / TRS mic inputs with variable intake patterns and a range of recording formats and resolutions), but the design has been revised with a larger screen, better button layout, a body shock rubber and all metal design microphone.
Zoom H4n media files SD and SDHC Flash (up to 32 GB) and recorded audio resolutions up to 24 bits at 96 kHz. Unlike the competition, including the zoom H4n many features musician environmental effects such as 50 virtual guitar amp model, markers, control playback speed and studio effects. It also has a speaker in the back of the unit installed. It will not replace your box of books in the near future, but it is very convenient if you check your audio or if you want someone to play a clip on the road. Of course you can play music on the speakers – it's not easy to very good sound.
Like the original, the Zoom Zoom H4 H4n a number of features that really make him competing recorders from Sony, Marantz, Tascam, and Edirol. For one thing, you can register with the zoom H4n single or stereo tracks as a digital recording studio 4-track.
One of the main highlights of this compact audio recorder is built in X / Y condenser microphone, the sound can support from 90 or 120 degrees, creating more dynamic audio. And because users can configure the digital microphone, they can resolve all the minute details of sound.
