Crank Stands
my chainring or crank is slipping everytime I pedal up hill but only when I am standing and pedaling hard?
I am wondering if its the chain slippind on the chain ring I have had two bikes do this bith have had the same bottom end setup with travtiv areoflow crank and chainring I pretty much always ride in in third so I am wonering what i can do to alleviate my prblem. if it helps I ride a 2009 diamond back overdrive 29r
This is the most difficult diagnosis in the field.
You could have bent teeth,
you could have a bent chain,
the adjustment barrel in your deraileur may need to be tinkered with
the spring in the rear deraileur may be broken or sticking.
Your chain may need to have a link taken out of it.
