Convert Xlr

Is there an inexpensive way to convert USB XLR?
I have a nice microphone that I want to connect my computer. It has a XLR connector. Is there a way to connect my computer via USB or 3.5 mm? I looked at the map ice which costs about 35 $, and Shure adapters that are somewhat hand over a hundred dollars. Is there a better way to convert XLR to USB at the same time on sound quality?
Go to the target they are 40, and the quality is great.
