What exactly is a video humbucker?
I see quite a bit of info about humbuckers in electric guitars and microphones, but what does a video humbucker do? What’s it used for? I’m not sure if it’s a “consumer” piece of equipment, since I’ve only seen it used by commercial audio-visual companies.
Any humbucker cancels, or at least reduces, mains-frequency hum, whether it be in a narrow band (audio) or wideband (video) system.
