M-audio Studiophile AV30 or Audio Technica ATH M50s ?
Hi there home studio experts, I’m trying to get proper equipment to mix my beats as well as songs sometimes. It has been about 2 years I’ve been mixing my every beat and song using cheap sony monitor headphones. I like to work on mixes at night so I gotta have headphones but if the near-field monitor does a better job than studio headphones, then I might as well go for the speakers.
M-audio Studiophile AV30(low-end studio monitor) and ATH M50s (headphone) are both about the same price so please help me out with your suggestions. Thanx .
Mixing in headphones is never recommended. It just doesn’t have the correct response, and will not translate over into a regular stereo correctly. With that said, some of the best headphones are made by Sennheiser. You should look into them.
